Question AUI / AUII Engine Noise Difference

My mate owns an AUII VCT auto and I now own an AUI VCT Manual. It is very obvious how much quieter his engine sounds! This is a good thing from my point of view because I love to hear the engine revving - and mine sounds great. I wonder if it is entirely due to the fact of that extra large firewall on AUII, or also that I have a manual and rev the engine slightly more. Has anyone else noticed the big difference.

i only drove one AUII falcon and it sounded NOTHING like my AUI. my AUI sounded like a lexus compared to the AUII which was a bog stock forte.

Going from an AU S to an AUII XLS I can't tell the difference. Then again I'm usually up around 4000rpm anyways..

I usually shift around 3000, unless I'm in one of "those" moods....

Pretty good rendition but I hope it is a little squarer at the rear. The rear roof line and boot line have a bit of S Type Jag in there.
