Is this rare to come by? The reason I ask is that there is one at Titan Ford - an AUII Forte manual. I just thought I'd ask because I have never seen one B4.
P.S. It's 26 grand

That seems pricey for a Forte..
You can buy a brand new AUIII from ford for $32k RRP. I would imagine you could get it closer to $30k flat, or get something extra.. For $33K RRP you can get a LSD, Sports suspension, cruise control.
For $36K you can get a XR6 HP new..
I belive they are uncommon, but not so that you would have to pay a premium.
Anyone who's in the market for something abit special and quicker than the regular going falcons but can't afford the price/insurance of an XR i'd reccomend a manual for sure.
That price fpr it seems ok, but i'd expect it to have pretty low km's though.

I'm with you, $26 is a big price for a 2nd hand AUII Forte. Road Warrior, If you can afford it buy a new AUIII.
Manual Fortes are uncommon and would improve the performance heaps.

go shopping for a brand new AU3 Falcon SR manual making sure you tick the Sports suspension ($350 - good value for XR suspension) and the LSD option boxes. Alloys, sports interior, spoiler - nice package.
you might be surprised what you'll get it for as well. At least it will put your $27K Forte used car in perspective.

The SRs come with XR6 HP suspension as standard, the $350 is for LSD. After owning an auto AU S, I would recommend the LSD for the Auto but wouldn't bother with it in the manual.

The XR spec sports suspension is an option on the SR Sedan.
Well there you go! sorry my mistake. My AU S pack had the XR6 HP suspension standard on it assumed that the SR had as well. And here I thought that the SR was a good buy.
Just found the booklet on the SR and you are right.

Maybe I should convert my LS1 to a manual instead hehe...:s5
The AU had 7,000ks on the clock (according to the pink slip anyway) . It was that gunmetal grey colour. Apart from a small real boot spoiler and cruise it was pretty standard.
So perhaps they could justify the 26K price tag with such low k's, but if a new one could be had for around 30k then that would be the better buy. Better than a Holden Clit0ris V6 anyway
