Mate, to be honest i'm on your side about colours, for the Xr8 and SS my choice would be Blue or Silver.

Well I would have got Red if they had it for the VT Series 2 SS but they didn't.
I guess they were fast enough already :p
The torch relay escort Commodores were 'RED HOT' VT2 SS 9C1 sedans. From memory there were 6 built. As far as I know none where sold to the public, Holden apparently sold them in house.:(
