im just using list prices but, Same cam, lifters , priced it could get it in the country for $265.00au, saving over $70 bucks, the more you buy the cheaper it is.... why the hell is a 351c performer manifold 100$ more expensive here then in the use when the dollar is like .95c? what do you people think? i can understand costs involved in shipping and so forth but really as much as u wanna look after aussie businesses, it doesnt seem they want to look after you..... what do you guys think? buy local? or best price with better service??

It's a little hard to comment really as there could be duties and taxes added to cetain equipment that you may not know of. What about GST or goods taxes. I'm not certain what is added on importing of goods to Australia.

I guess with the internet these days you have the oppurtunity to bring it in yourself if there is too much of a margin between the prices and that alone should keep dealers more honest or at least give you the freedom to choose not to pay the dealer price.
