Ok guys, we will be unofficially launching Australia.fordforums.com in the near future. The nearly completed prototype can be found HERE.

As has been stated in the previous thread about the site, this is not a move away from fordforums.com, the forums will still run and operate exactly the same, all this does is expands out online community into one that provides even more services for it's members and if you have any more questions on it's purpose, please ask and i will do my best to clear up any confusion.

What is needed from the members of this area are members rides stories (just some photos/details of current and future mods to car is fine), technical articles/product reviews, details of upcomming events to be put in the events calendar, links, also photos of cars etc from events such as the sumernats or a V8 supercar race weekend, you have attended to go in the gallery. Also feel free to suggest anything you may think has been overlooked to add to the area, and it can be added.

With member input we can build this section of the forum into a real online community that will benefit everyone and help draw more members and sponsorship to the site. If you have something you would like to do or contribute to the site, please PM or email me and we will work out what needs to be done for the contribution to be made to the site.

I am hoping to get a good base of knowledge, articles and general content on the site before the tickford open day where I plan to have the site officially launched to make it more attractive and draw more attention at the ford forums stand. So lets all work together to make this place an even better online community for ford enthusiasts like yourselves.

Good work DK, i'll have to send you piccies of my car etc, whats best for you format wise for specs and storys of members cars. Would it be best for us to type it in .html or .doc file?

Either was is fine because not everyone will know html, but most people should be able to use word or something similar, I do not have a problem getting a word files and creating a webpage from it.

We have a club meeting tonight and we will mention this and gather together some photos of cars, stories, product reviews and whatever else you need. I will also try to gather together some key events in SA as well as dates of some of the main club events we will be holding.
