As anyone who has been in IRC knows, http://australia.fordforums.com is under construction
the url of my first development of the site that will go into launch is here http://donutking.fordforums.com/att1.html I would appreciate it if you took the time to look at it and give me some feedback for the second incarnation of the prototype.

its lookin ok so far mate.
looks nice with the centered logo.

one suggestion would be to tidy up the big ford image a bit.

yeah i roughly did that as a demo if i was to put that in the final version it would be much cleaner

one other thing that you could do.. (someone else has mentioned this too in another thread about this forum), is to make the top background the same colour as the rest of the page.

the black up the top kinda stands out too much in my opinion.

I don't mean to be rude here but I think some of you blokes have a bit too much time. Don't get me wrong here, you do a great job, and that's just my point. the forum is excelent the way it is now, I don't really think it's necessary to change anything At the moment. As the saying goes, if it aint broke dont fix it!

I don't know if this is such a good idea. You guys really keep things moving around this place, and if you leave and run off to a special Australia fordforums it's going to look pretty dead around here.. us Probe guys can't hold up the fort alone..

I agree, we all love it the way it is.......leave as is (just my opinion)

If I understand it right, FordForums will remain the same, this website is just an additional thing for us Aussies. It will be a great starting place for newbies and also good for looking for the members rides, Ford info, maybe mods (aka AP's pics on the stroker, etc), Clubs around the nation, that kinda stuff.

I'm thinking of it as a national Ford enthusiasts website instead of the state by state clubs sites, for all Ford lovers to find more info and then maybe contact the individual state clubs.

Anyways that's just my opinion, and may not reflect what DK's going for. :s5
