Hi XC you are right about the board. Don't know if I like the Falcon section listed under 60s cars

Yeah.

Why is it that all the 'Seppo's' only deal with cars from their own country?

Don't Americans know that FORD is a worldwide company? I wonder if they know how many yanky donks are euro sourced? Like the Contour, the Cougar, the Escort (It's a MAZDA underneath), the Tempo and the Focus.

There need to be a few more sections in here for Australian Falcons, Lasers, Meteors and Telstars. European Fiestas, Escorts, Sierras and Granadas. There are even some custom Fords in South Africa and other parts of the world.

Sheesh. Bitch mode off.....

Chalk up another vote for a separate forum covering Falcons.

Btw anyone care to guess the engine configuration for the 255kW
Falcon that will be showing up at the Melbourne Motorshow?

My guess is GT40x heads, Cobra manifold and 341 cubes.

Shame I wont be there to see it but I'll be at the Tickford day
the weekend before and will be expecting the rest of you
there too. :)

No problem. Glad to be of service. Out of interest what sort of upgrade did you end
up getting?

I've been sitting on a set of rear slotted DBAs and Ultimate pads for a few months now.
Been too lazy to fit them so far but now that I'm an unemployed bum for a few weeks
I might just put them on.

Thumbs up

I bought a set from CEBCO and I have just about got em fitted and hope to post photos ASAP on Bon. It is a slightly better kit than what Herrod could do for me and I saved about $300 thanks to you. In fact if Cebco hadn't worked out I probably wouldn't done anything.
I think I have stuffed up with the wheels though. I wanted to keep the Tickford look plus the suspension mods were really designed for 17" wheels but since then I have seen a couple of AU with nice 18".
Anyone have web sites that display wheels?

I'll be at both. I'm gunna fly down for the Tickford Day (staying the weekend) and taking Friday and Monday off the following weekend for the Motor Show. Couldn't afford to flt down both weekends so I'm driving down the second one. Be at the show on the Friday (2nd).

Hmmm.

I wonder if I will have more luck posting from home????

YEP!

Looks like it was the office firewall after all.
Strange, because it hasn't preventing me from posting anywhere else.

Now, how do we get these guys to move the Falcon Discussion thread out of the 60's era?

___________

OH SIMPLE! You ask and they do it! I like these guys.

They even move your posts (like this one) into the correct area.
