I'm sure there was an AV in town last month. It was masked up and had an XR escort everywhere it went.
Could'nt get close enough for a good look, but they (most car makers)come here for testing.Will be keeping a camera handy and a lookout from now on. Jaguar were here a few months back did get to look at them close-up very nice.

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would let you know what I have seen.
Last week I was driving to work along the Monash freeway outbound (8.20 am)when I came next to a car that was wraped in black gaffa tape. It turned off at Blackburn Rd. The colour of the car was a dark marone and the lights had tape across them so only some of the light was showing. It struck me that this could be the new falcon but I wanted proof. Well - it had a current XR spoiler on it, the C pillar had the sharp point the same as the AU, but the interior was definatly falcon based. The guy driving it gave me a funny look because here we were going about 100km/h and I was staring at him and the car. Basically the shape is more square, picture the back end of the AU and bring the sides up, to square off the boot, also, put a bigger more square grill on it so the bonnet doesn't slope so much. All in all I think you will be very happy with the result.
And with the power output suggested from the other thread, I think I will get one.

I've seen it three times on the spit bridge in sydney. Very nice!
