From the new spy pics ive noticed a few things:

The rear looks like a bit of a cross between a Magna and a VX commodore(is it masking that made it that shape?). Not a bad thing, Magnas have nice angular rear lines (some say borrowed off the R34 skyline) and the commodore VX lights do look modern.. I think its a good job. It certainly doesn't look like a cockroach at all yet still feels falcony.. It certainly will look individual.

Front looks clean and a bit El/EF ish.. Yet modern. This is what the AU should have looked liked.

I read a recently zoom where they claim the DOHC falcon turbo (4psi) origionally put out 290Kw, and ford are going to have to use restrictings in the intake/exaust to limit power.

It think ford can be reasonably confident that the have a nice product on their hands. With rumored developments of:

4.0 DOHC engine
Turbo for six
4.6/5.4L OHC V8's
New sheetmetal
Two peice tailshaft (yay no conserns about vibrations)
lighter and cheaper IRS
All the good AU underpinnings

I think this could be all thats needed to make people switch from the tired old VT metal of the commodore to something more refreshing.
