Do you think that the AV GT and GTHO should replace the T-Series concept? It makes sense, seeing as the T-Series are factory hot Fairmonts and one could argue that the GT's of old were also?
I dont' mind the T Series as it competes directly with HSV. IF T Series were to be axed, there'd be a missing gap.
I mean if he T Series are basically fairmonts then HSV are based on Calais.

I think they need something there like that to compete with HSV. Personally i'd be going for a rename, but only if the new t series doesn't do too good....
I think they should use the Tickford name in the title of the cars, something like the
Tickford 5400i TE, TS, TL etc
Tickford 5400i GT
Tickford 5400i GTHO
This would make Tickford a well known PERFORMANCE name, the same way Cosworth is known in the UK, you hear the word Cosworth and you know that car is a gun, no if's no buts.
Tickford should continue to do the XR's and continue to put the names on the cars as these cars already have a performance image which helps the tickford brand along.
I really feel that Ford should stick with the "T-series". It takes time to build market share. Build a road rocket that looks good and it will sell.
Look at the Subey. The WRX made it everyone's dream car and it was affordable. Back in the 80's if you had've told your mates you wanted a Subey as your chariot they would have laughed you off to the assylum!!!
Just my 2 cents worth: I think "Clubsport , R8 and Grange are easier to say , rolling off thy tongue more easily if you like. FTE does sound insipid. Call them "Ford Tickford Dealers" and give us names not monikers.
