my mate has just got himself a nice Chrysler Centura with a 265 in it, very nice car and soundz awsome.
anyway he wants to drag me, so me, him and another mate who drives a nice VL are going to drag in the next few days(on private property)
its going to be VL commadore VS XE Falcon VS Centura

im going to lose 4 sure!!!
my cars a hunk o'shite only a bog standard and very worn 6 up against a well maintained Hemi and VL with a few minor mods.

Its going to be a sad day for FORD thats for sure and the worst thing is ill hear about it for AGES

i think ill have to cheat or sumthin!!?!!

put in a bottle of octane booster and advance the timing before you race to give you a bit more grunt, and adjust the kick down cable so the box changes harder.. but i dont know if that will work for up changes or just down gears, or if it will make any difference at all ???

Probably not gonna help you much but try and get your car as light as possible. Take out the spare tyre and jack is a good place to start, don't have too much fuel in the tank. Also if you fluke a good start and are in the lead at say 60kph just jump on the brakes and say you won
