BA design

Who else thinks the front of the new futura looks like that of the recently superceded Corolla?

I deffenatly think the Forte looks better than Futura by far but i think saying it looks like Corolla is going a bit too far. Barra looks like Barra.

Not me, I think it has the Euro Ford influences.

Anybody who is dissapointed with the design, like saying it doesn't live upto expectations should go and find an AU1 Forte in green and then look at the new Falcon. Its like night and day.

Corolla

Milchy I just posted in another place that the new front looks like a Camry, I hadnt read your thing at that point, so obviously there is truth to it. Let's be honest guys, just cos its the BA Falcon that you're all waiting for doesnt mean everything about it is out of the ordinary. I am looking forward to the DOHC Triton V8s! The rear of the Fairmont Ghia looks nice, the side looks like the AU. Interiors should be good!

It seems there's a general opinion of those that are picking at the BA Falcon that they all seem to mention the doors! Why is that such a big deal, i never saw the AU doors as a problem.

it puzzles me too!

How unique can cars be these days without offending people?

I never said the doors were a prob, I don't mind the look of the AU3 I am just saying how it doesnt look different to that. THe BA headlights arent ugly, they are, however, ordinary

And this is what its going to take to sell them in numbers to fleets and the average Joe Public. An opinion that says "its not ugly, yet conservative". I'm sure the XR series will lift an eyebrow or 2.
