I think BA will be the best Falcon ever, and hopefully one of the most successful aswell. I think up until VYII (or whatever the series 2 model of the next commodore will be called) BA will dominate in sales. VYII will introduce Holden's (GM's) new all-alloy v6 which is supposed to be good, and according to motor might be turbo'd.
Best looking Falcon ever in my opinion, and will definately be the quickest and most refined to date. Twin cam Turbocharged In-Line-Sixes with twin and quad cam V8's. That's a recipe for success.

If Ford gets out in front, They'll have to stay there with aggressive marketing, a good strategy, a few tricks up their sleeve, and a damn good car. Holden didn't need a damn good car, so strike that last point. Anyway, the thing is that if ford don't win on the track, and don't come out with a good looker (they already have one base covered), they just won't sell.
I'm afraid the Australian market is getting to be like the American market... ie. looks over performance.

Totally agreed. From what i've seen of the barra it is really a very nice car, i believe so in anyone's case, no matter who they barrack for. In the flesh, even better, inside and out. We have the best car, now we need the best marketing to back it up.
