BA Falcon an Engineering Success
G'day guys ive been reading the posts in this forum for months and ive been real tempted to add a thread.
Its great to see all this support for the Ford out there. Even when Ford is going through trying times it still good to see how loyal people are.
When AU first rolled out Broady all those years ago, for most of us employees at Ford it was a dark moment. There was no one in the whole engineering and development staff who liked the visual looks of the car. Anyways our darkest fears became true (just look at sales).
However id just like to point out the ammount of engineering hours that went into that car. Engineering wise the car is second to none in terms of reliability etc.
and dont forget its a majority Australian product.
So no one ever likes to look behind, so before AU launch we were already working on Grizzly the next upgrade and not much after Barra.
I can assure this vehicle is the best Falcon yet inside and out.
Anyways you can expect these rough ball park figures for engine outputs;
200kW xr6
250kW xr8
300+kW t-series
These are base line figures and in now way reflect exact power outputs of these engines.
Ps, could one of the photo shop guys put a 1 inch high chrome strip all the way across the bottom part of the boot. Similar to what the AUDI RS has (current motor mag)
Thanks
