BA Falcon RECALL

Hi all....
was watching the news and ford announced a recall of all Ba falcons and have stopped manufacture......they said there was a serious problem with the IRS suspension that needed to be addressed urgently. Apparently a new ford owner was driving through a corner at speed and the rear suspension collapsed causeing him to crash......this doesn't sound good for ford.

Oh Shit!

OH that is so bad. I hope this problem is fixed soon and Ford can get on with production of the BA Falcon.

It's not like many have been delivered to buyers yet?

Whatever, I'd say this sort of thing would have been ironed out on a computer model 4 years ago and and definately not missed in millions of test kms of VERY hard driving.

Your a dick for saying that.

Are you calling me a liar....It was on the national news....Sounds like your a dick for being too confident in fords new super toy. Something is bound to go wrong in any newly designed car. This one however has started with a bang.

Why are you calling him a dick?

These things do happen and unfortunately problems with this IRS setup seem to happen alot.

Lightbulb

The reason why i posted it up in the first place is because some of the forum members may have a ba falcon and are not aware their is a fault...so they can be cautious till they get there car too the dealer.
