Lightbulb BA Falcon Wagon

I am curious to what holds for the BA Falcon Wagon. On the AU I was never caught on by that flaired tail lights at the back and the cornered off matching window, just doesn't seem right. I love the E Series wagon rear lights.
I even have to admit the rear end of the VT Wagon looks better than the AU.

But overall shape the AUIII SR wagon with the subtle side skirts is the first aggressive wagon i've seen since the EF XR6 days and my EF :s3 :s3.

I really hope they sort out the back end on the BA Wagon.

I bet the rear hasn't been touched (maybe taillight lenses only) - any takers?

Might even have the carryover AU front screen, it seems the Ute does.

So far there is only this (white=ute, black=sedan?, note top of screens) & a disguised XR Ute in the current Wheels or Motor.

i would say ford would not be investing much into the wagon becuase as a segment, it sales and profits are falling, and with the upcoming raptor, i believe thay we are seeing the gradual extinction of the humble, leaf sprung wagon

You can see from the photo above that the ute has different front glass to the sedan. Looks like panels/front change only.

They should keep at it because it's the only area which they cane Holden in sales.

Apparently also Holden will have a Cab/Chassis or Trayback one tonner next year.

From the wagons I have seen (and utes) it will be front sheetmetal only, forward of the A pillar. One version of the ute I have seen will add to its commercial carrying ability but I don't want to steal Ford's thunder on that one. Note that sedan is the only BA to get the squared off window line around front and rear screens.

Look at history - Ford always do stuff to the sedans while the commercials and wagon get same old same old all the time.

I was wondering how long it would take Holden to offer the one tonner tray back option for it's utes, once Ford did so well with it.

I just hope that Ford eventually offers a ute with a once piece body instead of the separate bed setup. That's probably the only thing stopping me from getting one now, doesn't look smooth enough for my taste...
