Does anyone know the specs of the premium sound system?? Will it be 250W or more and any other info would be good?

150 watts with amp and sub. not shure if it is just a normal speaker or if it really is a subwoofer.

Yes I also noticed the output being 150 Watt. I hope that is wrong, because why would Ford downgrade in that department? The 250w system, even though not the best out there, sounds pretty decent.
What I noticed is that the 250 Watt system in my bro's El2 Ghia was not as good as the 250 watt system in the Xr8.
Hopefully the new ones are better, because it was cool being able to get a decent system from factory.

Yes, the Premium sound system has been downgraded from 250 watts to 150 watts.



And yes, you can option it on the XT.

I have the brochure right here in front of me, it doesnt say how many watts the premium stereo has, just that the subwoofer amp and speaker is rated at 150 watts, that would be in addition to the rest of the system...which may make the total system around 300w??? Please correct me if i am wrong

I think you might find the amp to be a tad more than that.
There are 3 audio levels but if you want you can option the Premium Sound on any model in the range (except wagons??).

I am tipping it will be fairly expensive though - for a start it brings with it the mandatory colour TFT screen + the aforementioned amp and the sub so it won't be cheaper than the present option.
