One of my reliable sources rang me today with some very interesting news......an AU2 FMC test mule came in to the workshop sounding very strange with a large bulge on the bonnet..with a lot of talking and bribing (insert brand of beer here)he convinced the driver to open the bonnet.
Under the bonnet was a supercharged V10 with H-U-G-E heads..no idea of capacity, but the thing took up all the space...battery was even in the boot!
The inlet manifold was a custom hand made unit and the headers were hand bent.....my mate nearly shat his pants he got so excited....
When he left the sound was awesome with a distinct lack of traction...
really makes you wonder what FMC are up to!!

Was it a roots type blower or centrifugal?
