hey this is my first thread and dont get angry if u dont agree with me or if im wrong im just suggesting somethin.

as everybody knows ford has a 9 inch diff which (which the developed) can withstand alot of power to deliver to the back tyres. but holden have a really shit diff. ive heard in an ss or hsv if u take the chip out which prevents tyres spinning and try to smoke em up big time the whole diff will rip out from the bottom it cannot withstand alot of power like the ford 9 inch diff can.

now everybody is worried that the next engines in holdens will be able to kick fords arese but not true. wats the poiint of having a 7L monster or watever it is if ur car cannot withstand the power?? and in this case holdens cannot support all the power from the new engines cause of their shit diff. so they gotta be carefull in wat they do. so ford has got teh edge over holden in turn of being able to give their cars more power because of their diff. but thats only 1 reason there are many more.

so wat are everybody elses views on this???

That's when Tom and his bunch of evil hencemen source more parts from the USA to whack under their "Aussie" Muscle Cars. They won't have a problem with putting a 9" under one of their cars - as long as they don't tell people it's Ford.

9 inch diff hasnt been used in a falcon since about 1978

As far as i know the 7 litre car won't have a stock diff.

The diffs in both the Commo and Falcon are made by the same company, BTR.

well all i was trying to say was that holdens cars cannot handle alot of power due to their diff and ford can thats all.

All weak links can be ironed out if you are serious about making power, i know of LS1's with 300rwkw+ using the standard diff no problems, thats more than enough power for the average joe.

And what is this chip you talk of that prevents the wheels spinning, because they failed to install one on any ls1's i know of.
