I thought there was something familiar about the new XR and then it hit me! It looks very similar to an EB GT!





Very similar bumper styling!

Personally I think the front of the new XR is the best front ever on a Ford.......but the AU rear is better than BA's.

I think the rear of the AUIII XRs is really good, but I'm not a fan of the AUI rear. Clear indicators look much better in most cases.

yeah you're right. The front bumper/airdam is nearly a dead ringer eh!

When filling up fuel yesterday i noticed a eb gt and i thought that looks so bloody similar. but it was a great car the eb gt anyways i allways loved the look of it. Definally the same sort of styling at least they have gone with something that suits.

I really like the front end. Commodore? not really. IMO it looks like an amalgamation of EVO VI, early model WRX, T3, BMW, Lightening, with a hint of 68 mustang in the foglight surrounds. Looks great!!!
I am dissappointed that it Ford didn't carry over the open bit from AU II/III XR in the rear bumper though ..

I think the new XR also looks very similar in the bumper area to the current Mazda 323 SP.....
