I must say I think Ford have done a great job on the new BA Falcon, it is sooo much better than the AU shape. My only criticism is that the rear lights seem to be the same across the range including the metal strip along the bottom of lights. Dont get me wrong i think they look great and i think the shape works really well but I would have thought they would have made the XR range a little different, i think some circular stoppers like the Monaro just to give it a more sportier edge, would have been better, what do you think?
I like my tail lights just the way they are - no silly Holden apeing circles, no red 'sporty' stripes, just an intergrated, classy euro look.
Where AU got it so wrong in the details, BA has got it so right! I would not change a thing (well, besides wanting an XR8 bonnet).
Cheers
Jason

I Think circular tail lights are a bit of a "fashion fad" thing.
Everyone has em this year, in a couple of years they will look so dated. these things come and go.
mind you i feel the same about the rear wings on every car on the road today. i doubt that they do more then add weight and create an area for rust to get in (around the mounts and screw holes).
If rear wings dont work under 100KM hour on a race car and they got huge ones, what good do these little neat wings on mums shopping trolley do pottering along at 80?

I know some loser in brisbane who just got a Phantom Purple Falcon XR6 and got the silver stuff on the bottom of the lights change to gold and also did the same to the badging. If it was my car i would have debadged it alltogether if i didnt like the silver.
