Just wanted to share a video of my car on a dyno at the Sydney Car Festival. It didnt make anything too impressive but was good for 268.4 rwhp. They are 2 passes (file is 1.3mb) and the standard exhaust note is quite nice (on a good sound system) Thought I'd share.

Dude. 268.4rwhp (~200rwkw) is pretty good for a stocky.
I hear stock BA XR8s can range from 192rwkw to 205rwkw so yours is on the good end of the scale :)

Just one thing tho.. Didnt sound like it was redlining.. Must be the new Modulars V8's.
no need to redline it... they rev it till the graph stops gaining. so around 5250 rpm... (or thereabouts)

Yeah... I'm quite happy with that. Needs to be tuned better now with the chip in and I should get a few more kilowatts before we get serious with the motor.

Hi Kypez. What mods did you have for that dyno run? Did you have the chip?
My dyno gained 8rwkw from 5000RPM to 6000RPM....so you might be surprised what you'd get if it was revved right out
No mods besides a chip with the wrong programme in it!!! Need to get it tuned!!! They only rev it till the graph drops then they stop. Dont know, its what they did!!

no worries mate... as I said, its a stock exhaust system. I know what you mean, isnt a screaming V8... but will have that fixed soon enough!!
