I've got roughly 40 model cars at 1:18 scale (numerous brands) but none with that much detail! Also of note i purchased a racing viper for $170 which is awesome, but this xr8 looks better. so i wouldnt be suprised if these topped $200
why dont they cut that glitter stuff and just use the same paint ford does on the real cars...?
have heard it suggested that the "glitter stuff" is due to the fact that they are using the same paint ford does, they are metallic flecks that look more obvious on a small scale model than it does on a full sized car
