I was at a shop next to a Ford dealer last night, there was a BA XR8 with the back wheels up on ramps, so I got down and had a quick look under there. Where the rear muffler is on the drivers side is, there is another spot exactly opposite side, where a muffler will fit perfectly! There is even a mounting bolt sticking out from the chassis, and nothing underneath the floor to stop a full twin system from bieng run the whole length. The rear bar is even made for another tip on the left.
Is this just a Fluke, or did Ford actually sorta actually design this to happen??

Good point. There'd be a lot of exhaust from the V10 so twin pipes might be the go there. :s3

Aaron, if you caheck out the site for D&T exhausts under the BA XR8 section, you'll see a pic of a blue BA XR8 ute with a twin system on it. That car is owned by a guy I know from work and I practically see it everyday!
Gives me a horn everytime. That system he has on that car is supposed to give the car an extra 30rwkw accodring to the D&T site!
If you were cruising down South road, Glandore, Cross rd overpass anytime during the weekday I could let you know if he is around and you could check it out!
