BA XT pic

Got this from the local paper, probably nothing new but I'm pretty sure it's an XT judging from the darkish headlight surrounds and wheels don't look like alloys.

It's funny how Ford have not released any pic's of the BA XT or wagon? Anyone know why?
I know that they're not that exciting to most, however that will be their main seller I would of thought.

Yes my friend, that is a BA XT you see. The competition is through my employer, Rex Gorell Ford in Geelong.

One of the most visually attractive base model cars I've ever seen. Boy I can't wait for them to come into work.

Okay - let's look at this.

*XT is definately the most attractive base model car on Australian roads.
*4 litre 6 cyl, with 4 valves per cylinder, and variable camshaft timing.
*It has the highly acclaimed Control Blade IRS.
*It puts out 182kw, 30 kw more than its nearest rival, VY.
*Quality interior, with a digital information screen, and a whole lot of extras.
*Comes with air-con standard!

All for a smidge over $30k.

Now, if at any stage the VY Exec outsells the BA XT, it will prove that the average Aussie motorist is a complete and utter ignoramus, no questions asked.
