Back in Black!

..with a front end full of bug guts.

Just arrived home from a super quick sub-8 hr trip home from wintery Melbourne (I wasn't speeding [much], honest.)

Mega thanks to Felicity for organising such an awesome trip! The entire week will definitely be put into the permanent 'not to be erased by alcohol' memory, except Saturday night which I already forget half off...

Huge thanks to Geoff for letting us explore through the Geelong and Broady plants, the Proving Grounds and for taking the time to chat with us - hope your shirt gets some wear! Cheers to Bruce (I'm trying to imagine you in the Jag blaring AC/DC...), nethead and Sheila for visiting us too.

Huge thanks to David for letting us wander through Tickford, and for the feed. Cheers to Tony for the tour, but no thanks to you for helping the girls win at the karts!

A personal thanks to Rob, Jeff and Ashley @ Herrod for the great system (and the bill...) and for letting me bludge around while it being done. Still very happy with it!

Thanks to Brian at the Fox Collection for showing us around.

Cheers to all who made it for the trip, especially the die-hards who did the full thing!

For those who missed out, you truely missed out!

Shame we couldn't win Bathurst to top it all off, but would have been too perfect.

Due to the fact I used conventional photography, I'll be posting pics later.

If anyone wants t-shirt, PM me. I have a couple of Ls, and some XL's left.

More info on the exhaust to come later, after I've scanned the dyno sheet, etc.

Being at home is a bit of an anti-climax now. I wanna go back! Geoff, does Ford have any open positions for IT staff? :D

I'm going to bed, I might wake up on Thursday.

How much for a large shirt? Might sneak one past SWMBO!

Good to see you got back safe n sound mate, apart from the excess alcohol comsumption. :D :D

Farout 8 hours Melbourne, we did the trip home alittle over that, couldn't go too fast as i had the privillage to drive "Mr Sparkle's" EL2xr8, thanks Mike.

Must say after driving a V8 me wants one, and i now admit there really is no substitute for cubes. :D

Glad to see you made it back safely. After last Friday I can give you a few tips on getting bug guts off your car (I hope they weren't all at the back like mine  )

Hope you finally got rid of all the sparkles. :D
