I feel that I am qualified to scare the shite out of you right now!

Let's just say that I'm glad that I did my Master of IT BEFORE I started fulltime work!!!!!

Re: back to school

hehe yeah i am a little worried sparkles but hey i am looking forward to it...my work is pretty laxed so i can pretty much take 'study' leave. so what kind of area did u concentrate on?? i am not really into programming but understand you must have some kind of coding under your belt. I did c++ in undergrad.

cheers FordLover hope it all works out as well, i mean for 12k a year hehehe...u can always head to uni as a mature age student later on...

Re: back to school

Yes mate, mine focussed on Software Eng. with a sprinkling of Comp. Sci. I actually enjoyed some of the subjects, until it came time for major projects / exams

Best of luck though - it really is a sensational feeling when you've finished it and are collecting the bit'o'paper from the important bloke in the funny hat!!

Re: back to school

Good luck Night_Lurker,

I too am doing full time shift work and doing a Masters program in Science & Technology in Aviation (Airline Operations) Management part time at UNSW. Next year will be my third year (of a planned four.)

The combo works quite well, and is nothing short of challenging. Mine's all via correspondence, which suits the flexibility with shiftwork right down to the ground.

Have fun with your subject selections,

James.

Congratulations Night Lurker, I'm sure you'll do well.
