Well.. after a long stormy night, being woken up by my car alarm and having no power all morning, what worse then to wake up and see a couple of nice dints in the top of your car from a F*CKING tree.
oh well.. time to save :(

Ouch! A similar thing happen to me, although it was because I helped out my dickhead horrible useless bum neighbours. It was pissing down with rain, windy as anything, and they need a jumpstart. So I agreed being the nice generous person I am, and as I'm standing out there with the bonnet up and the big alligator clamps sticking right up off the battery, the wind blows the bonnet shut and crunch straight onto the alligator clamps. Two little upward dents in the bonnet, nothing major, but they're visible and in one of the dents the painting is cracked off.
Thats gotta piss ya off!
Heh...at least it wasnt the whole tree - you can still use the car.
(or maybe if the car got crushed it would have been better...insurance?)

Ouch! That is ridiculous!! I would be furious. Are you going to spend that sort of money right away, or give it some time and do things gradually? Seems steep, but then again, I know stuff all!
I got no idea what i'm going to do at this stage, we MAY be able to claim it on the persons house where it happened 's house insurance, but they're not home at the moment, so i really don't know, i just have to wait.
while i was around getting a quote seen a nice wrecked green EF fairmont like mine
it was in way worse condition and had NO insurance.
