Well, im in a tricky situation, was offered a better job today, more cash, better house etc, problem is the damn car, it's a VX with only 5000km and they dont trade till 20k, I am sure I can live with the VX for 15km (will jack the bastard up and stick a brick on the celebrator) anyway when it's time comes to trade I have 10k for every changover twice a year, so assuming we can get 25k for a 20,000km VX (im hoping) I have 35k to spend on a new bus, What do you all think is the car to have? Remembering trade in is important.
I know it will be hard, but be gentle on the Commode. When it is handed back in good nick, you will have more in your kick to spend on a nice shinny new Ford.

If it's for a new car for teh price i'd go for a manual XR6 or a manual V8 Forte.

i was going to suggest trading in on an rs2000 (i would, wouldnt i???), but i just remembered that ford havent made a proper rs2000 for 20 years.
as such, i would suggest trading to an xr6. you may have $35k to spend, but check if your cmpany can swing a fleet discount for you. if so, you could seriously look at a car close to $40k. then i would suggest...an xr6.
Thanks for the advice, the good news is the people I work for (Government) get a fleet discount no probs at all, we recenty paid $26500 for a AU3 Fairmont :s2: Look out XR 6? 8? here I come, that $5000 fuel card PA better look out as she is in for a hammering:s3
