With all the talk about the Turbo, has anyone seen any specifics written about the Barra 220 V8?

Eg, 0-100, 400 metres times

Motor & Wheels say i'ts smooth & torquey but how does it's performance compare to the GenIII as a total package (VY V8 Vs Barra 220 V8) ?

Hopefully one of the mags will do a test between an SV8 and a XT-V8 with sports suspension options and rear wing.

Wheels tested a BA Fairmont Ghia V8 in this months issue. I think they had the times in there, but I don't have the magazine on hand so I couldn't tell you.

Barra220 in the Ghia did 0-100 in 7.2sec and 1/4 in 14.4sec I think.

Correct the 1/4 mile thing, can't remember the number.

Remeber the Ghia weighs 1775kg has power to weight of 8.09kg/kw
