BA's at Bathurst but no Phantom!
Having been at Bathurst for the past couple of days it was an absolute pleasure to see the BA's being crowded by everyone, including the Holden mob.
The two XR6T Monroe safety cars looked fantastic, the XR6T in the Ford tent looked great as well as the Futura's and XT's. There was even an XR6 ute with the rear wing and hard lid on the tray.
BUT I didn't see a single car in Phantom (purple). They were either Congo Green, Meteorite or Blue Print!
In the GM tent they made a point of cars in that green colour (I think it's Hothouse).
Ford have a brilliant clour that, at the moment, is unique to Australian built cars! Where is it!! (Bruce McDonald couldn't tell me)
By the way the green chicken curry that was served for lunch was fantastic, as was the icy cold Crown. Can you guess where I am?
