I see some of the cars further down the page run good old Impco 425s. I'd bet Aussies could teach the yanks a thing or two about running cars on lpg.

i have no clue about LPG. except that its cheaper. my mate keeps saying i should put my ute on lpg and all that. Does LPG have an octane rating of 118 like it says on that site ?

i just looked up caltex website, they claim their LPG has a 100 octane rating

100% Propane has a huge octane rating... 118+

Our LPG used to be 100% propane but is now a propane/butane blend and has been downgraded as a result.

Go the LPG!!! As soon as the money gods smile on me again the XD will finally get its dual GRA setup and new cam... then we'll see how aussie BBQ gas goes :)
