Just thought I would mention this for the Adelaide guys/gals. At Jarvis Ford on Portrush Road is a black XT BA with 17" Fairmont style spokey alloys.
That's basically all they have done to this car from standard, but I must say the BA XT in Black with the 17" looks absolutely stunning and worth a look and enough to make a post about it. The black outs in the headlights and the beautiful shapes of the new BA body have this 'basic' model looking very very classy and preditorial.
Its been a while since you could simply wack on some 17"s on a new falcon, sit back and say it looked awesome without adding body kits etc. If any of you out there want an XR, but can only afford an XT, this car with 17"s is one car that you won't feel like your making a big compromise on.
Can agree with that! At the Sydney Motor Show, there is a black XT with 17's and optional body kit. Looks fantastic!

Delete striped BAGTs look like (*)(*)less models!!!!
XT is the most attractive Falcon in the range (besides performance models)... no chromey bits, just clean and classy.
Those blacked out lights should definately be standard across the range of Falcons for BA2.
Futura and Fairmont seem to blend into the crowd a bit. IMO those two models do look slightly plain. The headlights of the XT / Ghia give the face of the car a real personality.

I agree with you TOTALLY.
The lights is what separates the XT from the boring front end of the Futura and the rather conservative Fairmont.
Yeap i must agree that XT with the mild body kit looked great. If the XR6-T or XR8 is out of my reach in the future i'll be looking into an XT optioned with 220kw 5 speed manual in Blue Pearl and premium stereo.
