Greens-TufXE

Hi guys I'm in need of a bit of enlightenment.

I bought a Biante model of my favourite car (take a guess which one!) but it is different to one I already have.
The one I purchased is labled at the 1983 Bathurst model with the chanel 7 colours circling the number 17 and Greens-Tuf written on the door.
However, the one I bought ages ago is just the normal livery with Greens-Tuf written on the front spoiler and this model is labled as the James Hardie 1000 model.
Can anyone tell me why there are two different models with two different, yet the same, labels. I'm assuming that Bathurst and James Hardie 1000 are the same race!!!!

The new Biante model is the 83 Bathurst Greens Tuf Falcon that is famous for being destroyed in the Hardies Heroes crash on the saturday before the race.

It had the Channel 7 rainbow logo around the No. 17.

The previous Biante car was the 84 Bathurst Greens Tuf Falcon (the LAST Group C Falcon). This is as the car is displayed at the DJR headquarters museum.

Not sure which is which, but other difference between 83 & 84 car is the positioning of the 'Palmer Tube Mills' and "Greens-Tuf' logos. They switch between the doors and the front spoiler in the off season of the two years in question.

Thankyou, cleared up a few things for me.
The Bathurst Model has Plamer Tube mills on the front spoiler and the other model has Greens-Tuf on the front spoiler.

At the moment i have all the biante xy falcons 1/18 all of the dick johnson collection allan moffet peter brock all the v8 super cars
in total i have 65 biante 1/18 models and 50 1/43 models the wife thinks i am mad,
i got a price to get 3 glass cabinets mad i fell over $6500

I'll second that, there is a model shop in the Galleria that sold one for $450, I think they go for even more on Ebay.

i know the place you mean. they always charge over the odds anyway. i would check ebay before buying anything from them.
