big "Raid" at Braodford weigh bridge - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

On Tuesday this week , the Broadford Weigh Station (Hume Hwy) became a huge Breath Testing/roadworthy/EPA/RTA and Sherrif operation.
From first light they were directing all traffic (except trucks) into the weigh station where everyone was breath tested , then the random roadworthies / EPA inspections and finally the sherrifs were checking for unpaid fines.
I hope it doesnt happen too often as it was a major p!ssoff waiting 15 minutes in the 40 degree haet for a breath test to be done.
Does this happen anywhere else?

It only went for 24 hours....and i wasnt in an illeagal car but the purple laser with no rego plates in front of me didnt have a good time,,,he he he

I support this sort of stuff as it genuinely adds to road safety. What I don't agree with is NSW Police and RTA targeting 'certain types' of vehicles for this treatment during summernats on the hume hwy.
