Enjoyed that . He came across as a genuine , likeable guy whom you could trust not like Obama . Cant remember if he was a good President or not . Just that he was married to Nancy , got shot ( par for the course ! ) and got on well with our Prime Minister at the time .
Reagan was an excellent president. He showed diplomacy and genuinely felt honored to hold the position. If it weren't for him, the USSR would still exist and the prosperity that lasted to the end of GW Bush was able to capitalize on can be traced back to policies he put into place.
Sad to see the onset of Alzheimer's in such a great guy when it became more noticeable . One of my best friends is suffering from the same disease now .
Sorry to hear that. They've recently made some advances in the field, but I don't know if it's beyond the testing stage as of yet.
