All Sydneysiders take note:

The RTA in all its wisdom have decided to put 4, yes, FOUR speed cameras in a 80m "blacklength" along The Great Western Highway between Parramatta and Westmead. It appears that 2 fire east, 2 fire west, although they now have the capability to shoot both ways.

Oh by the way, the powers that be have seen to it that this new camera site is yet to be signposted

What Id like to know is if they are yet to signage the location, are the cameras active ? And if so, I imagine you could fight it in court given the RTAs statement on signposting locations (unless this SOP has changed without my notice ?)

Sorry to the Victorians who dont have this liberty of signs.

Quit ya bitchen and get over it, now that you know where the cameras are their should'nt be a problem.
Try living in melbourne and having to drive along the western ring road every day, 4-5spd cameras inbound then on your way home another 4-5 to match... and not only do we not have any sign posts which point them out, our tolerance is only 3km/h. Don't get me started about the 80-85 new speed/redlight cameras which have been implemented recently in vic.
...sorry for that rant mate but now you know how us victorians feel like living in the revenue rai$ing $tate, it was only a matter of time until the other states caught on... i mean ca$hed in.

There are signs in certain areas in Victoria but if they're everywhere I doubt it.

I saw those there a few weeks ago. Looked like they were justbeing installed.

Isn't it the law in NSW that speed cameras must be signposted 3 times? If not they can't get you.
If they do just come back in the wee hours and de-activate them...

you guys should all move to perth. its a nice place, the real estate is cheap and i've seen three speed cameras in as many months.

But there never was an infestation to begin with, the WA Govt. knows that if they p!ss off the majority of voters (which is the car-using public) that it will bite them in the ar$e BIG TIME!

You think people are going to vote for Bracks when he is the sole reason they have lost their license, and an many cases lost work as a result. I think not.

That man is an absolute fool and if he doesn't start thinking about the election coming up then he has piddly chance of getting in.
