Just wondering about making the dash in an EA Ghia backlit with blue lights/LEDs...

The trip computer in particular is REALLY dull now, I opened it up a while back, and the light I could take out I think wasn't blown, so I don't know what is making it so dull, but if I replace that with a blue light, will it come out blue, or a sort of blue/orange mix? (which I imagine would be ugly as hell)?

Also, is it possible / hard to do the same with things like the speedo?

This document will explain how to do that. If you're just looking to do the trip computer, you'll find it's best not to change the globe itself, rather the paper it shines through.
