I take it that others got the e-mail from FPV saying that we have to subscribe to get the Blueprint magazine.

Do other car companies make enthusiasts pay for their propaganda, given that the last few issues have been that IMO.

I think that it should still be complementary for XR, GT, T-siries owners etc.

Does anyone else have views on this ?

I'm not sure it isn't still available for free to those who were subscribed but would have to check. I received the email and read it as now being available via subscription to others outside of that database... the email stated ".. previously only available to owners of Tickford and FPV models..."

FPV don't make enthusiastists pay for Blueprint. FPV owners still get this for free, and unless it's changed, FPV-affiliated club members still get it as well. Presumably, the email was sent from those who've submitted their email to the FPV website where it's hard to determine who is already receiving this. The offer is to the general public to receive copies by paying for it, which is perfectly fair.

I don't believe new XR8 owners should receive this free either, that car is not an FPV. Those guys should join an FPV/XR club if they want that benefit.

I dont know whats going on down there at FPV, I got my EBGT in 1993 and the mag just started turning up to my door one day, they have not missed one I have every copy.And then there is other guys that have Tseries & GTs and can't seem to get it at all. Beats the hell outa me? Mabe ring FPV and get put in the list,"if they have one"

What magazine was available back in 93 ?
The only mags that came out as far as i know was the Blueprint Magazine back in 2001 when the first issue was released and that was for T-Series owners and now the GTs

I didn't say I was getting them since 93, I was pointing out that FPV must have some sort of list there, because I got the first one in early 2001 and ive only my T3 since mid 2002 so they must have looked back to see who had EB/ EL GTs & Tseries so they could send them to those people.........

I got / get mine because of my EB.

I thought the way their email sounded was that everyone had to pay, but if GT and T-series owners still get a complementary copy, all's well.

Most XR8 drivers know why they have bought their car.....they don't need constant reminding and reasurance..
