BOF back on the Blue Oval

Well, it's 99% at this stage, I can get either a VYS auto to replace my VXS manual or a manual na XR6, I sell my case at Wednesdays meeting, need to prove that the BA will have good resale, (must be worth $28200 after 4 months or 15,000km at least)

Now the best bit, the cost of changing from the VXS manual which has now done about 17,000km since Sept 2002, into a manual XR6 is.....................$19.00, yes half the cost of a carton of beer and that includes cruise and window tint.

Wish me luck on Wednesday fellas!

Car's I have owned. First car purchased in July 1994, in order of ownership.

I dunno BOF .. get a VY S and a BA Xr6 and make the managers look at them then take them both for a drive .. I suspect you will get the XR6 without too much trouble!!

good luck !

All the best for Wednesday BOF. Mate Ford should give you a bonus for you marketing their product free of charge.

Oh yeah a BA XR6 NA leaves the VY S far far behind. Going Ford is the going thing.

Good luck but hopefully it should work out XRs have always had good resale & the BA should be better seeing how limited supply seems to be & the car of the year awards & stuff

Side by side, comparing the base (or lower spec) 6 cylinder versions of the BA and VY, there has never been so much of a gap between them, and in favour of the Ford! I can't see any reason at all to even consider the V6, when you weigh up all the variables. (Not that you were ever considering it BOF old mate )

Now powered by PCOTY WINNING SR20DET - 32% engine weight, 37% capacity, 50% cylinder count
Clicky clicky here for previous ride! I still miss her!
