Any idea if the bonnet bulge on Barra xr8 is available on the turbo models from Ford?????
I think there is a market for it!

Doubt it. The bonnet bulge is practical and serves no purpose on the XR6T. I would hate to see it appearing on the Turbo as it would destroy what little there is seperating the two cars visibly.

Nut.... sorry, aint gonna happen....not factory anyway.

I know its only for looks but I would love one on turbo. To me its one of the selling points for 260xr8 - looks tough - but will xr8 be sheep in wolfs clothing compared to turbo? But you are right probably need something to distinguish models!

It's not only for looks.. You should see the size of the Boss 260 motor. The bulge is needed to fit the engine in the bay!

Venom XR

Put bonnet vents on the XR6T i reckon (aftermarket) like the autotek ones, make it different to a stock xr6. leave the bulge for the 8s. Bit of cooling for the xr6t engine bay would not hurt.

Yeah those slatted vents would look absolutely sick on a XR6T, two on the bonnet in symmetry. Mint. Would it improve performance though, realisticly it would be tiny cause not THAT much air could get in. If I see any XR6's with the bulge I'll scream, it'll be shaker faker season all over again - I hate it. Keep em 'orig... no fakers. Isn't the Boss 260 really really tall and thats why they needed the bulge. has the bulge got a hole in the back for flow or is it sealed?

NO keep the bonnet bluge for XR8. I would love is series II BA gets bonnet vents for the XR6T. It would give poeple something to distinguish between the XR6 Turbo and stock XR6 besdies the red Turbo badges.
