Just got an eyefull of the latest Street Machine Magazine, and inside there is a company in Adelaide that now makes bonnets to suit the VY Commodore, complete with a very proud bulge looking much like our very own XR8 and GT.
Way to spoil a good, purposeful concept.

I drive an Turbocharged AU XR6 HP, and find that with the pipings in place, a bonnet with a subtle buldge would be really helpful, but nothing as big as that on the BA XR8 coz I don't want to be a "wannabe"....not that I don't like the BA buldge, but it just wouldn't be right to have on an AU.... :(

Yeah saw a VY SS Ute here in NZ with a POINTLESS bulge in it's hood, the Falcon V8's have 'em because the engine just wont fit without it, the commie has it just because it looks good.
Me thinks them people should be ashamed of them selves!

I am sure it has been covered time and time again here, but my idea of "rice" is add-ons that serve no function, power or aerodynamic advantage.
A turbo Falcon isnt rice, far from it!
A turbo falcon with neon lights underneath and autometrer gauges on the bonnet is rice,
And a V-WHY Commodore with bulge is also rice.
Also, Keam Kiwi, as for "adding a turbo to keep up with the Commodores", which spec Falcon are you comparing to which spec Commodore??? Please dont let fact blur your point of view in your post.
Surely you dont compare the blown Falcon 6 Vs the blown Commodore 6.... Or the NA Falcon 6 which has more power than the blown Commodore 6.
