Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm quite sure that the Ford acronym 'VCT' is for 'variable cam timing'???
As well, it would be 'dual VCT' especially in the case of the 6 cylinder, as they now are all twin cam designs.
Regarding the knock sensor, I find it difficult to comprehend the lack of one, especially on the 'Boss' engine which is supposed to be the performance variant.
Like others have stated, our fuel is of such a low standard, why would you risk killing a new engine by running it on unleaded.
It would only speed up internal damage by using such crap in it.
