Im respraying a car for a friend and im just wondering which brand of paint I should buy. I will be doing the job in my shed so I will be using an acrylic paint of some type, and I was wanting to hear from people who can recommend a brand / store to buy the paint from

cmon guys! I know some of you have done your own spray work, which brands did you use...any problems...any tips?

i used 2 pac so i cant help with the paint brand but the one tip i can give you for a home jobbie is to 'wet' the inside of your shed and start spraying while it is still damp... Stops alot of the dust and shi*t from floating around

As a suggestion, try 'the Paint Professionals" 26 Peninsula Blvd Seaford. They were excellent a couple of years ago, very good quality 2 paks and acrylics, and great color matches, but I can't qualify what they're like now.

did you spray the 2 pak yourself mate? i was checking out booth hire costs and its not too bad so i might even end up doing it that way yet
