brisbane launch of the fairlane

the brisbane launch of the fairlane was on tonight.

they had a fairlane and a territory there.

my dad walked past.

he was on a cruise with some workmates and his boss and neil crompton was a guest speaker at dad's function and as they were leaving he said he had to go to the fairlane launch so dad went for a walk past to have a stickybeak.

i guess this means that the fairlane isnt far from going on sale.

Yeah i want to see what the standard Fairlane is like, rather then this G220 that the media has been swamped with.

And to be honest i dont think the G220 is really going to sell that well, its pretty much the same as what Ford tried to do with the Sportsman.

I have recently seen two fairlanes on the roads of melbourne. I haven't been able to get a good close look as both were travelling in the opposite direction to me.

However, I really needed to take a second a look to make sure it was the new fairlane. My initial reactions were "There's something different about that BA"

gawd damnit!!!! i prefer when they do functions at sanctuary cove! its only a minute away from me!
They had a huge dealer thing there one time when the BA falcon wasnt yet released, and the focus and new courier was there too. It was a a huge testing thing to, all teh dealers got to drive the new BA then a vx commie. Me and my friend thought it was really wierd when we came accross them all at around about and of course we followed :D oh it was a great arvo.... i could of stolen a BA if i has really wanted to.. there was a futura just sitting there with the keys in the ignition and windows down... plus no one around lol... of course i didnt cause i'm good :D
but yes... when were were looking around all the BA's some dealers came out to do more laps, and one guy yelled out to us "quick!! customers heres a card :D" hehe some funny dealers :D
and that launch of russell ingalls car was at sanctuary cove.... not that i knew :(

anyway... ford.. KEEP DOING LAUNCHS AT SANCTUARY COVE PWEASE!! :D
