As appealing as broadband is I just can't justify the costs they ask.

I just dial into work, start a Terminal Services session on my play server that's sitting on my desk and go for gold. Company Internet link ownz me!:s3

meh, Telstra is okay but i personally don't think it is worth whats being paid.

I was thinking of having ADSL once Telstra has it up and running in Perth but if they're still having reliability problems I'm not going to waste my money until it's working perfectly.

Not that it's the fastest cable connection around, Neighorhood Cable is OK here. And compared to dial up, along with a extra phone line, there was only a couple of bucks difference.
With this I can D/L gig's of stuff.
