Did anyone else in melbourne notice the huge amount of flying ant things that were out early evening last night (14th Nov).
the front of my car looks like i've driven around australia, the things were everywhere.
looks like i need a trip to the car wash!

Dont you like the way they 'liquify' when they hit the windscren and 'bake' on after a second rendering the wipers useless at cleaning the screen only making streakes of mushed up bugs.

Those bugs always come out this time of year and with the lights we have at work there must have been tens of thousands of them. It seems their purpose in life is to fly around till their wings fall off and then attempt to fly again. Just glad i wasn't driving thru them. (In Adelaide)
