I traded the AU in today, was extremely sad to see it go. :(
My GF and I are moving in together and decided that it'd make it a hell of a lot easier if I had a smaller car. Which I agreed with, on the condition that I was allowed to spend half of what I got from the AU on the EA :D
Long story short I picked up a 92 Telstar TX5 Ghia 2.5L V6 and $5000 cash in hand. So all up I got $13000 trade in, which I was totally stoked at! I now have another $2500 to spend on the EA.........mmmm custom T4!!!!
The TX5 is a great little car! It absolutely hammers for what it is. I smoked an auto EBII from the lights tonight, which surprised the hell out of me. It's got full velour interior, power window, cruise, cent. locking, 4W ABS, alloy wheels etc. The only downfall is that it's about to hit 240k's, but it has a full service history and is in absolutely MINT condition, so I figured it can't be all that bad.
I'll post some pics tomorrow when it's light.

Sounds like you have it all figured out. Good luck with the EA and the Telstar. The AU is just the Next EA anyways, 10 years from now we will see P platers driving AU1 Fortes. Or perhaps not.
My EX did the quater in 59 seconds , she must have needed 'exterior touch ups'. LSD doesn't work well on woman.
Those Telstar TX5's are a awesome lil car... my family had one when they were new, it was a TX5 Ghia turbo with mags and black duco and factory spoiler, real head turner!!!

I lost a fair bit, but I have come to accept that cars really suck! lol
I paid $15 for it back in Feb, and then spend $1500 on 17's and probably another $1000 on other things.
The AU was just about to turn up 150,000k's. I don't think I could have got a better deal anywhere! A few other places offered me $10g for it, but the cars they had weren't what I was looking for, I drove a 1.6L Carby Laser and just about laughed in the salesmans face when he said "it's got plenty of get up and go hey!".
