frown Bye EA

I have to sell my EA now. I plan on putting it in the paper next week and don't know what price i should put down everyone seems to have different ideas in the trading post. Ill say what it is and its problems:

1989 EA series 2 Spack
4spd auto
mpi
Its in perfect condition inside and outside, I got it at 215,000 now its at 241,000. Replaced heaps like water pump, header tank, alternator all those sorts of things but im not sure if they will make a difference to the price only things iv added in are.. clear indicators and a sony head deck with remote. Two of my tyres are in top condition while two would be illegal and the windscreen now has a dam crack in it. The car looks and goes very well the inside and outside are in perfect condition oh yeah the ac just ran out of gas!!! I was wondering how much i should ask for the car in brisbane unregistred. I wont be a eseries member for a while but i doubt ill turn to the dark side. So what should i put on it ???

Re: Bye EA

brisbane prices are as follows,go to ipswich rd morooka (spelling) they can go from anything (UNREG)from lousy 400 bucks to 2,000 bucks

if i was to buy yours as is unreg i'd give you 1,500 knowing it came from another member..

my brother inlaw bought his EA fairmont ghia wagon already nice n low and perfect throughout was bought for 2,250 bucks..

in paper put 2g ONO see what happens but for one in your condition never go under your reserve price or you'll regret it..

Re: Bye EA

best bet might be to trade it - my EA got me $3500 trade on my ZH Marquis... no way would I have got that in the Tradin' Post, plus it saved me the hassle of getting a Safety Cert. and fending off tyre kickers all weekend.
