I am on dialup now it takes to long to download. Can someone do a basic run down of what they actually thought of the car? I'm interested t know, and see how it compares to the Z06 Corvette.

Just watched the full version. Does the new Vette really run leaf springs?????? I find that hard to believe! Surely that must be BS. Typical Pom review, as in "all our cars are soooooo great, but cars from other countries suck" Man they really pulled out all stops to bag the hell out of the Vette, whilst the only good thing they said was one not even they could deny......"its fast". Geez I didn't need a bunch of stuck up, one-sided Poms to tell me that!! I like the new Vette, its probably the only GM car I like and I thought it deserved a better review. The shootout looked a bit suss too.......I don't believe the Vette is slower than an NSX or TVR!
in all honesty though it handled like crap around the track with stig driving it. honestly now i like the C5 shape the best. but hey i wouldn't turn down the C6 :) or any vette for that matter.

Corvettes run leaf spring? How the hell do they run leaf spring in the front? And whats difference does a "transverse composite leaf spring" do? How the hell did the Z06 handle so well then? It got a sub 8 second time round nurburgring and many 1g's through the slalom at around 70mph. I would hate to think they went backwards in the handling department on the C6.
